Yarmouk College’s Pharmacy Department organizes a quality visit for its students to the Samarra Pharmaceutical Laboratory
April 18, 2025Erbil – Assistant Professor Dr. Zaidoun Ahmed Abdulkarim, Associate Dean for Practical Affairs, and Dr. Alaa Hassan Fahmi participated under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region, Dr. Aram Mohammed Qader Amin, Erbil hosted the 8th International Scientific Conference of the Union of Arab Statisticians, jointly organized by the Union and International Shake University, under the title “Synergy between Artificial Intelligence and Effective Statistics to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals”.
The conference was attended by a group of scientists and researchers in the fields of statistics and artificial intelligence, in addition to researchers from various Arab countries, and addressed several topics in the fields of population censuses and artificial intelligence and their role in achieving strategic development goals.
At the conclusion of the conference, the President of the Union of Arab Statisticians, Dr. Haider Freihat, presented shields of excellence in honor of the Union to an elite group of scientists, heads of statistical agencies and associations specialized in statistical research, in recognition of their efforts in supporting statistical work and Arab statisticians. In turn, Dr. Idris Hadi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Chuck International University, presented the certificate of honor to the delegation of Yarmouk University College
