November 30, 2025In an atmosphere filled with a spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility, the Central Technical University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Wadhah Amer Hatem Al-Tamimi, signed scientific memoranda of understanding with Alyarmok University College, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Thabit Abdul Razzaq Dhahir, in his office on Tuesday morning, November 25, 2025, in the presence of the university’s scientific and administrative assistants and several department directors.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Tamimi welcomed the visiting delegations, emphasizing that “the Central Technical University is your university, and supports private education as one of the pillars of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.” He stressed that this support is embodied in effective partnerships, particularly in evaluation examinations, organizing joint conferences, and everything that enhances private education standards and achieves scientific gains for both parties.
Al-Tamimi noted that private education has become more integrated and mature today, pointing to the significant successes achieved by the university through its strategic projects, primarily the establishment of Polytechnic colleges that have witnessed wide student enrollment, alongside horizontal expansion with new colleges opening in Baghdad and other provinces. He also announced the upcoming groundbreaking for new technical colleges in Balad, Anbar, and Al-Suwaira to support technical education in Iraq.
The President of Alyarmok University College expressed his gratitude to the Central Technical University for their warm reception and commitment to supporting private education, confirming that these partnerships will contribute to enhancing the quality of academic programs and achieving an integrated education system.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees renewed their appreciation for the policies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by His Excellency Minister Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, which support the integration between public and private education, aiming to build a solid educational environment that responds to future requirements.
