December 9, 2025Alyarmok University College in a meeting for fruitful scientific cooperation with the College of Basic Education / University of Diyala
Within the framework of strengthening academic partnership and exchanging scientific expertise, Alyarmok University College hosted a visit from a delegation of doctoral students from the College of Basic Education, with the aim of exploring the latest developments in the field of modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence applications in serving humanities disciplines.
The visit included important meetings that began with the reception of the delegation by the Dean of Alyarmok University College, Dr. Thabit Abdul Razzaq Dhahir, who welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation and opening the college’s doors and laboratories to everything that serves the educational journey and scientific research, stressing the complementary role between academic institutions in advancing the level of higher education.
The delegation also met with Dr. Sahab Dhiya Mohammed, Head of the Computer Engineering Technology Department, where an extensive discussion took place regarding the integration of advanced technology in the educational and research environment.
For her part, Professor Dr. Batool Fadhil, the delegation supervisor, explained the great importance of this visit, noting that the main objective is to explore the latest methods and technologies used in the field of artificial intelligence and how to employ them in the Arabic language specialization, contributing to the development of research and linguistic analysis mechanisms, and updating curricula to keep pace with global developments.
She added that “our visit today represents an important step towards integrating modern technology, specifically artificial intelligence, into the core of our linguistic studies. This cooperation opens new horizons for our students to become pioneers in using advanced technological tools to serve our mother tongue.”
This visit is expected to result in sustainable cooperation mechanisms that serve students and researchers in both colleges.
