December 25, 2025Alyarmok University College achieved clear progress by entering the Arab Ranking of Arab Universities for 2025, ranking 48th in Iraq out of 63 participating Iraqi universities and colleges, while placing 197th in the Arab world out of 285 Arab universities. This achievement reflects the development of the college’s academic and institutional performance.
This progress comes as a result of continuous work to develop the educational and research environment, enhance the quality of academic programs, and improve the level of scientific output, in line with the requirements of accredited Arab rankings.
The Arab Ranking of Arab Universities in its latest version relies on a comprehensive methodology that measures the performance of educational institutions according to a set of main axes and indicators, most notably:
Quality of education, including the level of academic programs, faculty-to-student ratio, and development of curricula
Scientific research in terms of the number of published research papers, scientific citations, and publication in reputable journals
Academic reputation based on scientific and institutional evaluations
Scientific cooperation and academic partnerships locally and regionally
Institutional presence and community impact through scientific and service activities and academic visibility
This advancement is considered a positive indicator of the college’s direction toward strengthening its position within the higher education map, with aspirations to achieve more advanced ranks in the coming years.
