The Department of Arabic Language and Literature Holds a Celebration on the Occasion of World Arabic Language Day

Under the patronage of the esteemed Professor Dr. Thabit Abdul Razzaq Dhahir, Dean of the College, the Department of Arabic Language and Literature organized a celebration on the occasion of World Arabic Language Day on Saturday, 20/12/2025. The event included a seminar titled ‘Arabic Language: Reality and Challenges’, a poster exhibition, activities for children from Al-Shajara Al-Mubaraka Kindergarten, a poetry festival by the Diyala Writers and Authors Union, and a cultural competition for the department’s students. The celebration was attended by a select group of Diyala’s intellectuals and witnessed a distinguished presence from all college students.
