Panel discussion on ways to raise awareness of sustainable development

Fourth-year students in the Department of Pharmacy / Alyarmok University College held a scientific seminar delivered by Mr. Qusay Jassam Shandoukh, M.D., in the presence of a number of students.
The seminar addressed an introduction to Tuberculosis.
In terms of its causes and modes of transmission, in addition to common symptoms such as chronic cough, weight loss, and night sweats. The seminar also highlighted the importance of early diagnosis and following approved treatment protocols to limit the spread of the disease.
The seminar also reviewed the role of healthcare staff, especially pharmacists, in raising awareness of the proper use of anti-tuberculosis medications and the importance of adhering to treatment to avoid bacterial resistance to drugs. The seminar witnessed notable engagement from students through discussions and questions, reflecting their keenness to enhance their scientific knowledge in clinical and pharmacological aspects.
