An educational workshop entitled “The Rights and Duties of Iraqi Women Workers under Employment Legislation

The Women’s Affairs Unit at Yarmouk University College held an educational workshop entitled (Rights and Duties of Working Iraqi Women in Light of Employment Legislation)

The workshop was presented by Lecturer Dr. Talal Jamil Sharif / Specialization in Administrative Law
The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of working women about the rights and duties mentioned in the laws and regulations in force in the field of employment.
The workshop addressed rights and duties in three axes (administrative rights of women –
financial rights – duties and obligations)
The workshop recommended the need to intensify efforts made to hold other workshops for the purpose of raising awareness of working women about the majority of the rights and obligations contained in the employment legislation in force
It is noteworthy that the Women’s Affairs Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has directed the implementation of the National Strategic Plan for Iraqi Women 2023/2024.
