Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

On the occasion of World Breast Cancer Awareness Month
, the Women’s Affairs Unit at Alyarmok University College organized an awareness campaign entitled “You are strong, your support starts with awareness” about breast cancer.
The campaign included introductory leaflets with the names of centers and clinics for early detection of breast tumors in order to encourage women to detect the disease early.
The campaign aims to actively participate for everyone in spreading the health message and promoting the culture of periodic examination. Emphasizing the essential role women play in building society. The importance of adopting healthy lifestyles and making sure to get regular checkups. These actions are not just individual steps. Rather, it is a collective responsibility that requires concerted efforts from all segments of society.
The head of the women’s affairs unit at our college, M. Nidal Younis Majeed hopes to raise awareness about breast cancer and motivate women to take serious steps to preserve their health. She pointed out that the campaign aims to promote the culture of periodic screening and teach women how to recognize the symptoms of the disease in its early stages. She emphasized the importance of early screening as an effective way to minimize the risks of the disease and increase the chances of recovery.
