Alyarmok University College participated on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Third International Road Race Meeting, which was held at Baghdad University under the slogan “Love and Peace.” The event saw participation from approximately 650 students representing 87 public and private universities from across Iraq. The marathon also featured international students representing various nationalities from Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, and Nigeria, reflecting the international dimension and embodying the goals of the “Study in Iraq” program in promoting cultural exchange and student integration.
Alyarmok University College achieved 66th place in the race out of 650 competitors, amid an atmosphere of fraternal interaction and academic cooperation between the participating academic institutions.
This activity achieves several sustainable development goals, including Goal Three, which calls for ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages, as well as Goal Sixteen focusing on peace, justice, and strong institutions, and Goal Seventeen emphasizing partnerships for achieving the goals.
