Awareness Campaign: “Pink October – Protecting Lives through Screening”

As part of our college’s social responsibility through the Women’s Affairs Unit, and in collaboration with a delegation from the Women’s Affairs Department in Diyala Governorate, an awareness campaign titled “Pink October – Protecting Lives Through Screening” was organized to promote health awareness. The campaign aims to spread awareness about early breast cancer detection and emphasize that prevention and knowledge are the first line of defense against this disease.
This initiative aligns with national and global efforts aimed at empowering women to prioritize their health and promote preventive health behaviors through self-examination and periodic screening, contributing to early detection, increased recovery rates, and creating a university environment that is health-conscious and socially responsible.
