Under the patronage of the Dean of Yarmok University, Professor Dr. Thabet Abdul Razzaq Zaher, the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, held a scientific symposium entitled: ((Bone layers, functions of the skeletal system, and the relationship of anatomy to physical education))Presented by –Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Khalifa BreesLect. Dr. Yousef Sabah JassimThe lecture included several axes. The first axis is the bone layers that consist of the periosteum, hard tissue, spongy tissue, and the bone cavity. The second axis included the functions of the skeletal system and what is its benefit. The third axis included the types of bones.
