Under the patronage of the Dean of Yarmouk University CollegeProf. Dr. Thabet Abdul-Razzaq Zaher, the Department of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling, Educational Guidance and Continuing Education Division, held a seminar entitled(The psychological effects of analgesic drug addiction and the pharmacist’s role in preventing it)presented by specialist pharmacist Dina Suhail Mohammed SalehThe seminar aims:to highlight the psychological effects caused by analgesic drug addiction and how it affects mental and behavioral health. It also aims to sensitize pharmacists to their essential role in preventing this phenomenon, by providing correct guidance to patients, promoting the rational use of medicines, and raising awareness of the potential risks of excessive use of analgesics without medical supervision. <\/p>\n\n
