Al-Yarmouk University College advances in the Spanish Webometrics ranking and achieves notable progress locally and globallyAl-Yarmouk University College congratulates its academic and administrative staff and dear students on this qualitative achievement, represented by a significant leap in the global Spanish Webometrics ranking, where the college achieved:Rank 73 among Iraqi public and private universities, out of 122 universities,after previously holding rank 106 locally in the previous edition.Globally, it ranked 8015 among more than 31,000 universities included in the ranking. The Webometrics ranking is considered one of the most important global academic rankings concerned with evaluating university performance through indicators of online presence, scientific openness, and research excellence. It aims to enhance universities’ presence on the internet and motivate them to disseminate knowledge openly. This achievement is considered the first step towards Al-Yarmouk University College’s entry into prestigious global rankings, and confirms its determination for continuous development and raising the level of academic, research, and technical performance, in line with international standards and enhancing its position among educational institutions locally and globally.
