Alyarmok University College

Alyarmok College established the university based on the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, pursuant to its letter No. 4988 on 10/12/1996, with its four departments (Law - English Language Arts - Arabic Language Arts - Computer Sciences). In the academic year 2005/2006, the college opened the Department of Pathological Analysis Techniques. And the Department of Computer Technology Engineering. In the year 2006/2007, the college opened new scientific departments, namely dentistry and pharmacy, and prepared all scientific and service requirements with modern, advanced laboratories, while securing a group of professors known for their experiences and high competencies. Also, two departments were created for the year 2023-2024, which are the Department of Physical Education and the Department Interior Design Techniques has nine departments, with evening studies in some of its departments. It is the first private college to obtain the honor of membership in the Association of Arab Universities.

The degree granted by the college is equivalent to the degrees granted by public universities, as its holder enjoys all the rights and privileges enjoyed by graduates of public universities. The college seeks to attract qualified professors from inside and outside Iraq to enhance its scientific capabilities and transfer foreign academic expertise and experiences to it. It is also working on twinning its scientific departments with the scientific departments of prestigious foreign universities.
