April 7, 2026Under the patronage of Alyarmok University College, the Student Activities Division, in cooperation with the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, organized the Lions of Mesopotamia Championship, celebrating our Iraqi national team’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
The championship witnessed a distinctive enthusiastic atmosphere, as the participating teams raised photos of our national team players, expressing pride and honor in this great achievement. The Iraqi flag was also raised in a patriotic gesture that embodied the spirit of belonging and unity.
This event aims to enhance student activities, encourage students to practice sports, and reinforce the spirit of fair competition.
