September 7, 2026On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, Alyarmok University College – Department of Pharmacy held a scientific symposium entitled:
“Between Food and Medicine, the Pharmacist Grants You the Secret of Healing”
The symposium was attended by the Deanship of Alyarmok University College, the representative of the Diyala Pharmacists Syndicate and the members of the Syndicate Council, and included a number of scientific lectures, in addition to a panel discussion that addressed diverse topics in the pharmaceutical field.
The symposium also featured an exhibition in which a number of pharmaceutical and cosmetics companies participated, showcasing a range of products and preparations related to the pharmaceutical field.
On the sidelines of the symposium, the Alyarmok University College shield was presented to the representative of the Diyala Pharmacists Syndicate, in recognition of his efforts and generous support, in addition to awarding certificates of appreciation to the participants and organizers of the symposium.
The event also witnessed the honoring of top-performing students in the Department of Pharmacy at Alyarmok University College, in recognition of their academic excellence and distinction.
The holding of this symposium comes as an affirmation of Alyarmok University College’s commitment to scientific and academic activities, and its support for communication between educational institutions, syndicates, and relevant authorities, in a manner that contributes to enhancing pharmaceutical knowledge among students.
